Biography
Robin L. Everhart is an Associate General Counsel focusing on healthcare matters. She serves as an Adjunct Faculty for the Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. Prior to joining Emory’s Office of General Counsel, Robin was an Associate General Counsel for Saint Joseph’s Health System, Inc. where she advised on general healthcare, research and regulatory matters and served as legal counsel to the Institutional Review Board. She was the Risk Manager for Saint Joseph’s Health System, Inc. and was responsible for medical malpractice litigation management, insurance coordination, claims management and served as Chair and member of the Ethics Resource Committee. She practiced law with an Atlanta litigation firm. Robin received her JD degree in 1988 from the University of Tennessee and her BSN degree cum laude in 1981 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Robin was licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia where she practiced in the areas of general surgery, cardiology and critical care. Robin is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys, American Health Lawyers Association and Sigma Theta Tau.
