Biography

Katie Lewis is an associate general counsel focusing on health care–related matters. Prior to joining Emory's Office of General Counsel in 1991, Katie practiced as an attorney with the Washington, DC, office of the law firm Hogan & Hartson and the Atlanta office of the law firm Knox and Zacks. Katie is a magna cum laude graduate of Agnes Scott College, with a BA in English literature. She graduated magna cum laude in 1987 from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as notes editor of the Georgia Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Katie is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Health Lawyers Association.
