Lisa D'Agostino is an Associate General Counsel focusing on health care corporate and regulatory matters with a focus on issues related to the Emory Clinic, and additionally, serves as the Clinic's corporate secretary. Lisa joined the Clinic in 1994 after serving as law clerk to the Honorable K. Dawson Jackson in Gwinnett Superior Court from 1991-1994. Lisa received her B.S. from Vanderbilt University in 1988, cum laude. She received her J.D. from Emory University in 1991 where she served as Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review. Lisa has served on various Georgia Hospital Association Committees related to issues such as the provision of interpreters for hearing impaired patients and informed consent requirements for physicians and hospitals. She is a member of the Georgia Academy of Health Care Attorneys, the American Health Lawyers Association and the Georgia Bar Association. In the community, Lisa currently serves as a mentor to Emory Law students interested in pursuing the specialty of health law and volunteers for Hands on Atlanta and the Atlanta Humane Society. |
