Marie Russell
Associate General Counsel
Marie Russell joined Emory's Office of the General Counsel in 2003 as Associate General Counsel focusing on health information technology and general health care related matters. She has practiced health law in Atlanta since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 1988. Marie has a broad base of experience in health law, including private practice with the health law group at King & Spalding and in-house experience in government, hospital, and managed care settings. She came to Emory from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where she was Associate General Counsel. Marie is admitted to practice law in Georgia and North Carolina, and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys.
