Biography
Lucie Ingram is an Associate General Counsel focusing on health care transactions and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Emory’s Office of General Counsel, Lucie worked at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) for 16 years. Lucie began her legal career at UAMS as a law clerk in 2008 and became associate general counsel in 2010. In 2015, Lucie moved to the Institutional Compliance department at UAMS. She served first as its Director of Conflict of Interest, then as the Director of Clinical Billing Compliance, and finally as the Senior Director of Clinical Billing Compliance. She returned to the Office of General Counsel in 2020 where she served as the primary attorney for business and contractual matters. She earned her law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. Lucie is also a certified medical coder actively holding a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification, as well being Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
