Biography

Stefanie M. Gregory is as an Associate General Counsel focusing on matters related to sponsored research and healthcare transactions.  Prior to joining Emory’s Office of the General Counsel in 2024, she was a Senior Associate General Counsel and Healthcare & Research Practice Group Leader at the Johns Hopkins University.  

Stefanie received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law (Chapel Hill) in 2012.  She also holds a Bachelor’s in Biological Foundations of Behavior (Neuroscience) from Franklin & Marshall College and a Master’s in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.  Before law school, Stefanie performed viral oncology and hematologic malignancies research at Johns Hopkins and manufactured cellular vaccines for a metastatic breast cancer clinical trial at the University of North Carolina.
